Innovative Features of the Gamma
- Operating speeds of 40-45 bars per minute yielding 72,000 to 81,000 capsules per hour.
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) combined with the Digital Motion Control System eliminates virtually all cams, gears, and rods making routine maintenance and capsule size changeover fast and efficient. Capsule length variation due to backlash is a thing of the past!
- Programmed Digital Motion Control System allows operator access to adjustment of capsule length and capsule joining.

Gelatin Handling
- Advanced design stainless steel Dipping Pans for precise distribution of gelatin on the Pins. Features new improved dual drive, individually controlled heating system, and draining plugs for easy cleaning. Features alarm system which sounds if gelatin level is abnormal.
- Automatic Gelatin Level Controls with proportional gelatin flow valve.
- Self-regulating heated gelatin feed hoses.
- Automatic Gelatin Level Control System with recorder and timed water feed solenoid valve.
Capsule Conveying System
- Hydraulic Bar Pushers and Rear Elevator for reliable, smooth operation. High-efficiency hydraulic unit is complete with soft-shift valves and variable displacement pump to save energy during off cycles.
- Efficient roller system on upper and lower decks minimizes friction and allows the Pin Bars to travel safely and smoothly through the drying kiln.
Capsule Drying System
- State-of-the-art capsule drying system is divided into five distinct individually-controlled zones for precise drying of the capsules. For the most efficient use of the dry air, it is channelled directly from the climate control system over the caps and bodies in the drying kilns.
Safety Features to Ensure Highly Reliable Operation
- Electronic Pin Bar Position Locating System for precise guidance of bars through Greaser and Automatic sections. Prevents Pins from being out of place during finishing operations.
- Electronic Pin Bar sensing at Rear Elevator section prevents bar overlap and short feed of lower Bar Pusher.
- Electronic Missing Pin Bar sensor on upper deck.
- Electronic Bar Pusher sensing prevents rear Elevator jamming.
- Automatic detection of dipping.
- No-load Bar Pusher Safety on Table and Dipper prevents damage to Pin Bars in the event of a bar jam.
- Pin Bar Lock on Elevator and Lower Kiln Deck to prevent the Pin Bars from sliding between cycles.
- Linear guide bearings for upper and lower Bar Pusher, rear Elevator, and Table.
- Bearings throughout Dipper, Greaser, Automatic, and Table sections eliminate the need for oil lubrication.
- Alarm warning light located above electrical panel alerts operator of machine stoppage. Alarm bell alerts of gelatin overflow.
